They came silently into the darkness, coming from heaven in search of human flesh. The parasites - creatures that take control of a human host to survive - arrived on Earth. No one knows this except Shinichi Izumi, a high school student whose right hand has been infected with a parasite. Shinichi, against his will, befriends Migi, the parasite. Both are now in the middle of a war between species.
