After many missions and against all odds, Dom Toretto and his family were able to outsmart, anticipate, surpass and distance all the adversaries who crossed their path. Today they are faced with their most terrifying and intimate enemy: emerging from the mists of the past, this thirsty ghost of revenge is determined to decimate the family by destroying everything that Dom has ever held to, and especially to whom Dom has ever held out.

In FAST & FURIOUS 5 in 2011, Dom and his team had brought down the infamous Brazilian drug spawn, Hernan Reyes, by rushing his empire from the top of a Rio De Janeiro bridge. They were far from suspecting that his son Dante, had helplessly witnessed the scene and that he had spent the past twelve years scaffolding the hellish plan that would require Dom to make an ultimate price.

Dante will flush out and track Dom and his family around the world, from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Antarctica to Portugal. New alliances will forge and old enemies will reappear. But everything will change when Dom understands that Dante's main target is none other than his barely 8-year-old son.
